Day 21 - Barak and Ariel Baruch stand in the "Chatach" - through their efforts much of the shaft was revealed. We cannot thank them enough!
Day 21 - "DANGER! Archaeological site / open shafts / cave-ins possible / entry prohibited". Next year we will need to reinforce the now very deep shaft.
 
 
 
 
Day 21- Crusader Fortress of Ibellin. Now fenced off until the coming season.
 
 
 
 
Day 21 - The kids have gone home. Fencing has been setup with warning signs as the "Chatach" is now almost 5 meters deep.
Day 21 - The "Chatach" reveals her last secret of the 2005 season - a new wall appears beneath the fill and earlier walls.

Day 21 - City Director Ben Gal (left), whose skills, expertise, professionalism and reliability made everything possible. Since he came to Yavne he has been an anchor for the project in the city administration.
 
 
Day 21 - The final day of the first season. Archaeologist and site supervisor Dr. Eyal Baruch flanked by Barnea Levi Selavan and David Willner at the bottom of the "Chatach".
